¡México en la piel! Or so they say when the flavours of the red, white, and green, with the emblematic eagle holding its snake, are missing from your plate.
Living far from a country that effortlessly brings together such vibrant spices only makes the craving louder. That's why Magdalena & Fermin, our owners, rolled up their sleeves and began cooking not only for themselves, but for a community that appreciates authenticity.
After all, what better person to prepare these dishes than someone who grew up with them? Someone who takes pride in serving a plate and seeing a smile after the very first bite.
As Tofino's only taco shop owned and operated by people raised with these flavours, we hold ourselves to a simple standard:
Would we proudly serve this at home?
If the answer isn't yes, it never leaves the kitchen.
